Wireless Equipment Cabinets

The Sun West line of lightweight aluminum cabinets has many different styles and can be configured to solve the most difficult site locations.  Cabinets for roof mount, ground mount or trailer mounted COWS are all expandable at any time.

Sun West Engineering manufactures a cabinet system that is very flexible.  Our system starts with a basic 4-Bay module, which may be expanded a Bay at a time or all at once, up to 10-Bays.  We have been very successful in providing our customers with solutions for housing their Motorola, Lucent, Nokia or Ericsson equipment in a flexible, well-designed, environmentally-controlled, UL listed cabinet.

The Sun West cabinet system is UL listed as a Wireless Communications Cabinet and has been P.E. certified to a 150 MPH wind load for south Florida and Zone-4 for the west coast.

In this catalog, are typical cabinet “configuration drawings” that show many different styles of cabinets.  It is important to note that the placement of the RF ports, power input, A/C units and access doors can be arranged to meet your requirements.  If you are able to select one cabinet design that meets most of your site needs, it will result in lower cabinet costs.  Some cabinet models are in stock, however, normal deliveries are six to eight weeks ARO.
